COVINGTON COUNTY, Ala. — Two brothers, one from Dothan and the other from Ozark, died Thursday morning after getting into a head-on collision with a semi-truck, according to state troopers.
The crash happened at around 4:40 a.m. on U.S. 29 in Covington County when Dominick Latrell Etheridge’s Dodge Dakota cross the centerline and hit a Kenworth W900L.
Dominick and his brother Michael Steven Etheridge Jr were killed at the scene. The truck driver survived and was taken to a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Dominick Etheridge was from Ozark and was 20 years old when he died. Michael Steven Etheridge was 26 and lived in Dothan.
