DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Wiregrass Angel House held its 11th annual charity golf tournament.
Several community members and leaders spent a day on the course to support the organization.
All the proceeds from the event will go toward the Angel House’s daily operations.
Those operations include crime scene clean-up, Angel Paws events, and other victim-related functions.
“I think it’s really great for us to see all of these people coming out and supporting us and letting us know that they do believe in what we do and that they want to help, and they want us to be able to provide and for our families, you know,” advocate Katy Lewis said. “I think anybody that shows any support for us, it means to world to them.”
The event lasted throughout the afternoon with plenty of prizes for the day’s top golfer and door prizes.
