DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Five Wayne Farms employees are now behind bars after they allegedly committed payroll fraud, according to the Dothan Police Department.

The company reportedly realized that something was wrong when an employee reported an error in overtime amounts.

Upon investigating the issue, Wayne Farms management discovered that supervisor Clifton Rafael Frazier, 35, messed with the records to make employees seem like they were working extra hours. The employees in question were Latoya Copeland, 34; Olivia Patrice Beard, 29; Robert Kenta Wade, 41; and Tamilin Smith, 38.

Police said the employees would pay Frazier $200 per week to do this, costing the company around $100,000 in total.
