The two remaining suspects in a burglary in Holmes County have been taken in.
According to a release from the local sheriff’s office, Blane Peterson turned himself in to Holmes County authorities while Frankie Reyes was apprehended over in Dale County.
HOLMES COUNTY, Fla. (WDHN) — Four men from Alabama have been identified as the people responsible for a burglary in Holmes County, Florida.
The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office sent out a release saying that the men seen in surveillance footage released last week are Frankie Reyes, Damien Webb, Tevin Coffman, and Blane Peterson.
According to the sheriff’s office, the four men broke into a local business on May 4 or 5 while armed with handguns, making off with “thousands of dollars worth of property, including a Ford Explorer.”
As investigators made progress in learning who the burglars were, they discovered that they were from Alabama, particularly the Dothan/Midland City area.
Eventually, Dothan police found the Explorer along with two other stolen vehicles from other cases.
Meanwhile, property from multiple burglaries, including the one in Holmes County, was found in Coffman’s Midland City home.
As of now, Webb and Coffman have been taken in. Webb confessed to his part in the crime.
