Local News

GENEVA, Ala. (WDHN) — It may have been one of the smallest george floyd protests in america…

At a busy intersection on Highway 52 in Geneva, resident Terra Harris carried a protest sign asking for justice in the case of George Floyd.

Harris would later be joined by a second protester.

“I came out here to stand up for my beliefs, and I’m raising my child to stand up for what she believes in and become the change that she wants to see in the world, and I have to do that myself,” she said.

The two protesters said they received mixed reactions from the motorists who drove by.
