DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A semi-truck and a Honda Accord collided with one another in a crash Monday morning around the intersection of the Ross Clark Circle and Denton Road.

It happened just after 10:30 a.m. First responders were on scene within just a few minutes.

Passengers were trapped inside one vehicle. While the semi-truck appeared to be mostly unscathed by the accident, the Accord suffered extensive damage on its front end, having a crushed engine compartment and a door ripped off the vehicle.

At least three people were taken to Southeast Health on emergency transport, and the crash ended up closing one side of Ross Clark Circle for a quite some time.
