OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — "Who did it?" That's the question law enforcement and Ozark residents are wanting to know.
Police still searching for the suspects responsible for the two separate murders within this past year, and another recent unexplained death that has many residents asking questions.
In May, 33-year-old Cornelius Crittendon was found dead from a gunshot wound in an apartment at Ozark Estates Apartments.
The case of 49-year-old Tammy Cooper found murdered in a wooded area in December 2017 also remains unsolved.
Within the past week, another death investigation began.
Midland city man, 27-year-old Kameron Norris' body was found lifeless off of Will Logan Road around 6:30 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13.
Police conducted interviews of witnesses, friends of the victim and also seized a nearby abandoned vehicle.
What was initially believed to be a hit-and-run, a preliminary cause of death has revealed was not an act of foul play at all.
"We're hoping to yield something and hopefully hear from our lab," Ozark Police Chief Marlos Walker said. "We're still interviewing people we find in those two cases also, but by no means is it over."
Chief Walker is expected to release more information on Kameron Norris' death as the investigation continues.
Anyone with information regarding any of the cases is urged to contact the Ozark Police Department at (334)-774-2644.
