Suspect in masked robbery crashes car during chase with Enterprise police

ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — A chase between Enterprise police officers and a robbery suspect came to a sudden end when he crashed his vehicle.

At 1:22 p.m. Monday, officers went to the Marathon station on 2171 Rocky Head Road after it was reportedly robbed.

A masked man came into the store and demanded money from the employees, driving away in a gray Volkswagen Jetta when he got what he wanted.

Officers later spotted the car on the Boll Weevil Circle and chased it until it crashed into traffic on the intersection of the Boll Weevil Circle and Park Avenue.

Cameron Zion Nealey, 20, of Decatur, Georgia was charged with first-degree robbery, reckless endangerment, and attempting to elude. He was booked into the Coffee County Jail afterward.
