Samson black lives matter rally

Local News

Samson, Ala. (WDHN)—In Western Geneva County over the weekend, A Black Lives Matter Rally took place in Downtown Samson.

More than three dozen protesters holding signs and placards waved at mainly southbound beach traffic at the intersection of State Highways 52 and 87.

Organizers say it’s time for the country to heal and to be united following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police.

While they protested for more than two hours, Reverand Ruttlen says his group received mixed reactions from motorists.
