Pipe failure partially closes Coffee County road; drivers urged to take alt. route

COFFEE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — A drainage pipe failure has closed the eastbound lane of County Road 239, according to the Coffee County Emergency Management Agency.

The closure is around a mile west of Alabama Highway 167, which means drivers will have to take Alabama Highway 125 instead.

The following roads are also closed:

  • County Road 205 approximately 1/2 mile east of Alabama Highway 87
  • County Road 332
  • County Road 723 at Sardis Creek Bridge approximately 1/4 mile south of County Road 725
  • County Road 365 north of the bridge
