OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — The State Bureau of Investigation arrested an Ozark man Thursday for allegedly possessing child pornography with the intent to distribute, according to court records.
Court records show that Lametrius McLeod, 23, faces 10 counts for allegedly having various videos depicting sexual assault and torture done on children of different ages, some of them being toddlers and infants.
While court records describe some of the perpetrators as male, adult women were also said to be performing criminal acts on children in one video as well.
McLeod’s arrest report states that he was never arrested before, and his profile in the court system does not show any history of criminal behavior.
He is currently listed in the Dale County Jail and is scheduled to face the grand jury on June 3, 2021.
