OZARK, Ala. (WDHN) — An Ozark business owner has been working to restore her store’s reputation after receiving a dismal score from the Better Business Bureau.
Frogs and Frills’ owner, Haley Stevens, said the poor rating partly came from complaints that happened several months ago, but that were already taken care of.
“Once we handled it with the customer, we considered the case closed and didn’t respond back officially letting the Better Business Bureau know the order had been resolved,” Stevens said.
Since that time, Stevens has worked to not only have the rating removed, but also ensure better customer service through more employees and greater social media presence.
However, that progress has not happened easily.
“You put a lot of time and energy and your heart into your business and then to have it seen in a negative light is never fun,” Stevens said.
Despite the challenges, Stevens told News 18 customer support continues to flood in.
“We’re thankful that they have been so supportive of us throughout this and nobody has reached out and really been ugly to us or anything,” Stevens said. “People have been very understanding.”
As the business continues to grow, there’s one message it hopes its customers understand.
“It’s because of our customers that we’ve gotten to this point where we have so many orders so we are so thankful for that,” Stevens said. “We want them to know that they can reach out to us at anytime if they need help with their order.”
At this time, Frogs and Frills is only promoting products that can be shipped quickly.
