DONALSONVILLE, Ga. (WDHN) — It’s been one year since Sharon Crawford vanished without a trace.
That’s 365 days of missed birthdays and other milestones that Sharon’s family had to go through without her.
“My daughter has been going on a year,” Shebra Crawford said. “No sign, no nothing, and it’s frustrating.”
Since then, Shebra said Sharon’s youngest son has questioned her about his mom’s whereabouts.
“He asked me, ‘Grandma, why are people so coldhearted? Why would (someone) kidnap his momma or kill her?'” she said. “He asked me if she’s dead, and I say I don’t know.”
Shebra said “the gossip” around town has her concerned with her family’s safety.
“I don’t feel safe and my kids,” she said. “I’m worrying about them because I’m afraid someone might do something to them.”
Her family filed a missing person report with the Donalsonville Police Department. Sharon is described as 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds.
A $500 reward has been offered for information on Sharon’s whereabouts. There’s been no developments in the case so far.
