UPDATE: Enterprise woman identified as Dale County crash victim

The victim in a crash between a 2012 Freightliner and a 2014 Honda Pilot has been identified as Sharon Lee Miller, 43, of Enterprise.

Miller’s Pilot reportedly drove into the path of the truck, driven by Johnny Sherrer, 57, of Chancellor.

Miller died at the scene, 10 miles south of her hometown. ALEA State Troopers are still investigating the crash.

Sherrer suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken Medical Center Enterprise.

DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — At least one person is dead following a crash between an SUV and a Freightliner at 2:20 p.m. Monday.

The accident happened at the Marathon gas station at the intersection of Highways 85 and 167 in Dale County.

Photos show that both vehicles suffered damage, but the SUV, a Honda Pilot, appears to have its front end crushed underneath the truck’s trailer. According to RickeyStokesNews.com, the SUV’s driver was the only person inside that vehicle.

At the time of the incident, Dale County Sheriff’s Office asked drivers to avoid the area if possible.
