Enterprise, Ala—Work is taking place on a new terminal building at the Enterprise Municipal Airport.
A new general aviation ramp has just been completed, with a concrete section for parking.
Once complete, it’ll replace a 40-year-old building. A state grant is pumping in 250-thousand dollars into the building.
The city is footing the bill for everything over 250-thousand.
The project will cost just under a million dollars.
“Working still on the airport and a new terminal building, and then work on expanding the runway. We’re still moving as best we can move
in the area,” according to Enterprise Airport Manager Staci Hayes.
That will allow the airport to handle larger aircraft.
