New principal takes the reigns of Samson High School

Samson, Ala. (WDHN)—Classes get underway tomorrow in the Geneva County School District. At Samson High, a new
principal will be walking the hallways’.

For the last four years, former football coach Donnie Smith was the assistant principal at
Mulkey Elementary in Geneva.

Despite social distancing and face masks, Smith says a new school year is always “exciting”.
Its been more than five months since classes have been held on campus.

Last year, Samson High School had a student population of 170. Smith says his management philosophy
is accentuating the
“positive”, and eliminating the “negative”.
