Enterprise, Ala. (WDHN)—Pensacola native and new Pinedale Elementary School principal says there are three main components to education: focus, compassion and gratitude.
During these uncertain times, Trey Mims III comes from a family of teachers.
His mother is currently a reading instructor in Vernon and his dad is a retired coach and principal.
Mims says he believes it takes a village to raise a child and he wants his staff, students, and their parents to feel a part of the entire academic process.
The University of West Alabama and Auburn graduate says he and his staff are excited about the start of the new school year.
That’s despite the complications of COVID-19.
