New Enterprise water lines being installed

Enterprise, Ala. (WDHN)—In 2018, the city lost more than 270 million gallons of water due to old, underground leaking lines.

Date back to the 1930s and 40’s.

City Public Works Director Alan Mahan says the goal is to eliminate as much wasted water as possible.

Since the pipe replacement started, millions of gallons of water have saved.

Mahan hopes the water line replacement project in Enterprise will be completed in early 2021.
