New classrooms for New Brockton elementary and high school

New Brockton, Ala. (WDHN)—This week, construction began for classroom expansion at New Brockton Elementary School.

The Coffee County School District has earmarked several million dollars to keep up with the rapid student population growth in Central Coffee County.

Twelve classrooms will be built at New Brockton Elementary and six are slated for the high school.

Although not at the same rate as New Brockton, the Coffee County School District is also making improvements at its schools in Kinston and Zion Chapel.
