Man severely hurt in Coffee County crash dies from injuries

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — An Opp man is dead more than a week after getting hurt in a two-vehicle wreck on Nov. 18.

According to a press release, that day, James Lanier, 64, was driving east in an Outlander when he crossed the lane and hit a Ford Taurus head-on on AL-134, around five miles east of miles of Enterprise.

Lanier was taken to Baptist South in Montgomery. On Nov. 26, Baptist South told the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency that Lanier died from his injuries.

State troopers are still investigating the case.
