Former bank robber Immanuel Lee Williams has returned to Dothan to face more charges in regards to his robbery of Dothan’s Trinity Bank in 2013.

Williams and his wife Cara made headlines as a modern”Bonnie and Clyde” years ago as they robbed banks from the Circle City to Tampa Bay from 2012 to 2013.

However, their life of crime came to an end in 2014 when the couple was sentenced to six and five years in prison respectively on federal bank robbery charges.

Immanuel is still serving his federal sentence, while his wife is now a free woman, having received her three-year state sentence back in 2015.
