DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Authorities responded to a call of a man acting “deranged” at the Flying J Travel Center.

Terrell Osborne, of Mississippi, parked his 18-wheeler-truck in the Ollies parking lot. He ran approximately 300 yards across the intersection of 231 South into the Popeyes Chicken restaurant. Officers then spotted him at the Flying J.

“An individual was running through the restaurant and running through the parking lot where he was acting very crazy.” Chief Parrish said.  “Making everybody uncomfortable they ended up locking the place down when he left, ” Chief Parrish said.

Osborne continued the madness. He crossed the street again and ended up at the Flying J. He was spotted by officers inside the Denny’s.

“At which time they handcuffed the man and took him into custody and realized he had shallow breathing,” Chief Parrish said.

Moments later the officers tracked his steps where they recovered his truck.

“We recovered numerous empty bags inside of his truck that tested positive of cocaine.”

Later, the man was transported to Southeast Health where he later died.
