ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Troy man in a rape investigation Tuesday.
The sheriff’s office was called in Monday for an alleged sexual assault, meeting the victim at Medical Center Enterprise.
After discussing the case with the 12th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s office, the sheriff’s office arrested Jeffrey Marlon Hamm, 52, of Troy on both first-degree rape and first-degree sexual abuse.
Court records state Hamm allegedly attacked a woman and forced himself on her.
He was released from jail Tuesday on bonds totaling $75,000.
