DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — With Fourth of July two days away, numerous businesses have Opened back up just in time.
We spoke with several local businesses such as Eagle Eye Outfitters, Rudd’s Furniture, and Hunt’s Seafood and Oyster Bar about how they are preparing for this upcoming Fourth of July weekend.
“We will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fourth of July,” said Rick Walz, owner of Eagle Eye Outfitters. “With that we’re celebrating with our anniversary sales, we’re doing 20 percent off nearly everything throughout the store.”
Walz thanked the community for supporting them after being shut down for over five weeks. He said coming back business has been great, and he looks forward to those celebrating Indepence Day to enjoy their anniversary sale.
Tim Reaves, owner of Hunt’s Seafood and Oyster Bar, said we’re doing the best they can with what they’ve got. They are adhering to social distancing guidelines by having guest seated every other booth.
In the world of all things furniture business is booming, said Jason Rudd, owner of Rudd’ Furniture Store.
Rudd said he expects numbers to still be high come Fourth of July weekend, especially with people spending so much time at home because they still want to be comfortable.
