DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A local blood center is in serious need of O-positive, O-negative, and B-positive blood types.
Lifesouth employees explain that the need for a certain blood type continually changes.
Since the pandemic began, blood supplies have run low and made blood donors scarce.
“We are limiting how many donors we have on there at a time, and we do have cleaning schedules that we have to go by every day,” “Every day, we’re cleaning to keep everyone safe, our staff, and our donors.”
The Lifesouth buses are out every day this week, and the centers are open 24-7. You can find a local drive here.
