UPDATE:

Dothan Preparatory Academy will also be going online only as of this Tuesday. This will continue through Friday.

Meals will be available for pickup in front of Davis Gym from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for the rest of the week.

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Kelly Springs Elementary will move to virtual learning Tuesday, according to acting superintendent Dr. Dennis Coe.

The school is making the change due to staff shortages. In total, Dothan City Schools has 10 active COVID-19 cases among its staff and another 15 staff members in quarantine.


Virtual learning will continue through Friday, and instructional packets and meal pick-up will be available on Tuesday from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m.

Those who do not want a meal can get their packet from noon to 3:00 p.m.

Regular meal pick-up for all students will continue from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Teachers will be available through email.
