Holmes Co. Sheriff’s Office searching for runaway teens

HOLMES COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two runaway teenagers.

This is the second time the teens went missing, as they ran away from home and were found back in July.

The first teen, Elanie Marie Alday, is described as having “dark brown shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.” She is said to be around five feet, seven inches tall and weighs around 100-105 pounds.

The second teen, Alex Baker, is 15 years old and has brown hair and brown eyes. He is five feet nine inches tall with a weight around 180lbs.

“The teens were last seen around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, and are believed to have been traveling on a four-wheeler in the area of Highway 81 in Ponce de Leon,” a post on the sheriff’s office states.

The sheriff’s office warned citizens that those who help hide the teens could be charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor and interference with child custody.
