Recently, two Slocomb bus drivers retired so now, the school needs replacements.
Meanwhile, the Geneva County School System is in search of substitute bus drivers, too.
Officials said they’ve had a hard time finding people.
“We would set you up with some mandatory training and then put you in a class, a new drivers class that we usually choose the ones that are close by so you don’t have to drive as far,” said Harold Birge, transportation supervisor.
Applicants must pass passenger, general knowledge, and the air brake test.
