Geneva, Ala. (WDHN)—Before eight o’clock Monday morning, long lines began forming outside the Geneva County Courthouse.
It was the first time in six weeks the public was allowed back inside. Only ten members of the public were allowed inside at any one time, and, as one person exited, another was allowed in.
In addition, each person had their temperature taken by a deputy at the front entrance.
The objective is to ensure the safety of employees and fellow residents.
Despite delays getting inside the building, several residents said they understand the necessary precautions.
