DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Gas prices around the state have continued to drop since the pandemic started.
Houston County has one of the lowest average prices in the state at $1.34, according to AAA.
Residents say they are happy to see those prices drop.
“I think we should keep the gas low in my opinion because it really helps out the economy because people are going places more and people are spending more money at places,” Deonte Schwertzly said
The pandemic has had an impact on the oil industry.
