DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A GoFundMe has been set up for a woman who was left with numerous broken bones after a two-vehicle crash.

According to her family, Sarita Williams was on her way to work Saturday after leaving her infant daughter Selena with her grandmother when a car swerved and hit her vehicle head-on.

While the other driver left with minimal injuries, Williams suffered numerous injuries.

“She has a fractured skull, air in her brain, broken shoulder, both knees damaged and had surgery for hopeful repair yesterday, a broken hip/pelvis so damaged that no doctor down here would attempt to fix it, 4 broken ribs, she had bleeding from her ears, and she needs all of the help she can get,” the GoFundMe states.

Williams was taken to UAB that night and is set to be in the hospital for an unknown amount of time so her cousin Barbara Gray set up the fundraiser to help pay for her bills. As of this report, the family has made $45 out of its $10,000 goal.

“Please, if you can help my cousin, she will be eternally humbled,” Gray wrote. “Any amount will do and will be appreciated.”
