DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Flowers Hospital held its first public vaccination clinic Tuesday.
By 5 a.m., lines started to form and ran on to Highway 84. Inoculations began earlier than scheduled in order to get folks in and out.
The vaccination procedure differed from last week’s mass inoculation at Southeast Health. In this case, it was first come, first serve.
Hospital officials said they are pleased with the results.
“It’s exciting it’s been a good day and it’s been running smoothly from our perspective,” said Emily Darnell, director of marketing. “We’re getting folks in and out to be monitored as quickly as we can.”
Flowers Hospital hopes to hold more mass clinics in the near future.
