DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — First Baptist Church and Dothan Pediatrics are working together to get vaccines to citizens that are 75 years and older.

Those eligible will be able to stop by and pick up a consent form they can choose from.

Dothan Pediatric Clinic initially received 2,000 vaccines and reached out to several churches for distribution.

Minister of Senior Adults Missions, Bob Gross, was happy to be chosen, he believes it will help with church services, attendance and finally putting the pandemic to rest.

“We want to partner with them because obviously we had a lot of senior adults who haven’t been to church in a year because this virus so with this vaccine, hopefully they can get back to church sooner,” Gross said.
