DONALSONVILLE, Ga. (WDHN) — FEMA mitigation specialists have been placed in Georgia and Florida to assist with the reconstruction of homes and businesses that may have been affected by Hurricane Michael.
Before you begin the rebuilding process, it’s may be in your best interest to speak with a specialist.
“When mitigation goes out in the field, we are there basically to discuss ways that people can build or rebuild safer and stronger to reduce the future loss of life and property,” FEMA representative Sandy Bridges said.
If you are near a disaster recovery center, mitigation specialists are on site to assist with any questions.
