ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — Enterprise police have arrested a suspect in the series of vehicle break-ins throughout the city.

Last week, a series of thefts reportedly happened in both Cotton Creek and the Springdale Drive region Friday morning. The suspects in these burglaries made off with guns and electronics that residents left inside unlocked cars.

So far, police have arrested one suspect, Makelle Johnny Blair, 20, of Enterprise.

Authorities took him into custody at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday and booked him into the Coffee County Jail on eight counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a motor vehicle with more charges pending.

Lt. Billy Haglund told WDHN that they plan to make more arrests by the end of the day, having identified other suspects.
