ENTERPRISE, Ala. (WDHN) — The city of Enterprise honored 9/11 victims Friday with a patriot day ceremony at Henderson Park.
The ceremony included 2,977 flags to honor all the lives lost that day.
The ceremony included speakers such as congressional candidate Barry Moore and David Jones, the president of the Sons of the American Revolution.
It also included a short memorial film and a cannon salute.
That meant a lot to me to hear someone who was actually there,” “The flags, the way they’re set up. Any time I see acts of patriotism anywhere, it makes my heart feel good.”
The flags were laid out to showcase the outlines of the twin towers.
