Elba City Schools plan to reopen on August sixth to students

Elba, Ala. (WDHN)—Elba City School Superintendent Chris Moseley along with
his administrative staff prepare for the opening of 2020-2021
school year.

Last Friday, State Superintendent, Dr. Eric Mackey, gave the “go ahead” for public school districts
to “re-open” to students later this summer. In addition, districts’ must have a “virtual learning” plan
for those parents’ who do not wish to send their children back to school due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

At this time, Moseley says his main priority to make sure staff and students feel “safe”
as we approach the new school year.
