DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Residents in Dothan are about to have an easier time paying their utility bills.
The city will be bringing in kiosks that allow customers to pay with cash, debit, credit, check, and e-checks.
The city will start with two: one at the civic center portico and the other in the parking lot between Water World and the softball complex.
“We’re hoping, maybe first of the year, we’ll be able to implement those and go live with our customers,” financial director Lisa Reeder said. “They first have to be finished building the kiosk and delivered, and we’ll have to test the kiosk.”
Customers will be able to pay by the week or by the day.
