Dothan Salvation Army seeks Kettle Drive volunteers

Local News

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Salvation Army is looking for volunteers.

The organization needs people to help with the annual kettle drive.

Volunteers are the bell ringers you see outside local stores around the holidays.

The need comes after a difficult year, and the funds raised will go toward helping families in need.

“And when you’re putting it in perspective, that that one loose change is actually a meal for someone that puts a whole different idea of well maybe I do have an extra second to reach in my pocket and give this loose change,” Captain Nathan Jones said.

You can reach the Salvation Army by calling 334-792-1911.
