Dothan police still working on runaway teen cases

Local News

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — There was a spike of missing persons reports in Dothan within the last month, but some progress has been made in the investigations.

On Oct. 11th, we first told you about Emily Marie Keene. She was classified as a runaway and was last seen at Fieldcrest Apartments along Highway 231.

Just one week later, we reported Victoria Lewis was last seen in the 100 block of Dempsey Court, and just seven days ago, Emily Baker and her daughter Angel Moore were reported missing after being seen on the 100 block of Mill Ridge Road.

Emily Baker and Angel are not considered to be in danger after it was found that Emily had gone to be with her mother without notifying her other family members, but the other teens are still nowhere to be found.

As of now, the cases are considered to be runaway cases.

“Some of the things that would change the nature, the factors, would be the age of the children, … is the child with a parent or stranger, was the circumstance of the disappearing considered foul play,” Lt. Doug Magill said.

If you see any of the girls, you are asked to call the Dothan Police Department at 334-793-7000.
