Dothan police recover $20,000 worth of meth in drug bust

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Narcotics officers with the Dothan Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration have finished a long investigation into meth trafficking around Dothan.

Agents arrested Jackie Lee King on East State Highway 52 in Columbia after reportedly finding four pounds of crystal methamphetamine in his possession. In total, the drugs have a street value of $20,000.

King was taken into custody on a drug trafficking charge and booked into the Dothan City Jail with a $500,000 bond.
