DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan police have nabbed another suspect they believe to be a part of the local heroin trade, according to a new release.

Investigators with the Drug Enforcement Administration and DPD vice arrested Renard Sinclair Orr, 36, of Kinsey Friday on drug possession charges.

The authorities were reportedly looking into Orr for around 30 days while tracking the heroin trade around Dothan.

The police department says that after making contact with Orr at his home on Walden Road, he was found with around three grams of heroin on his person, as well as drug paraphernalia.

Orr was arrested and booked into the city jail “for Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.”

The police department says the investigation is still in progress and more charges are pending.
