DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Police have arrested a man believed to be responsible for the Arlington Avenue shootout back on April 18.
Investigator Erik Broten previously told News 18 that the shootout began as a fight between two people that escalated while a crowd watched. Stray bullets ended up hitting three people in the crowd,
According to police, Larry Antionette Garlington Jr., 23, of Dothan turned himself in Tuesday — seven days after one of the victims, Cornelius Williams died from his injuries.
Garlington now faces charges for murder and first-degree assault. No bond has been set.
