Dothan man charged after threatening to shoot up Dunkin Donuts, police say

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — A Dothan man has been charged with making a terrorist threat against a local Dunkin Donuts.

According to Lt. Scott Owens, the incident happened on May 14 after James Quadarius Thomas, 26, threatened to shoot up the Dunkin Donuts on the 2100 block of the Ross Clark Circle.

The store ended up having to evacuate due to the threat. Two weeks later, police were able to identify Thomas as the suspect from a tip and surveillance video.

He was booked into the Houston County Jail and was released on a $10,000 bond.
