DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Greater Beulah Baptist Church in Dothan held its annual celebration and memorial service for Martin Luther King Day.
Although the event had a large turnout, organizers made sure that all COVID-19 precautions and guidelines were followed.
Despite the year looking different compared to those prior, Pastor Daryll Roberts said he’s grateful to be able to celebrate the life of the civil rights leader.
“To have this on this day is vitally important to the outcome of America,” Roberts said.
Greater Beulah Baptist was grateful to have their annual ceremonies and appreciated everyone who came out.
