Dothan buildings, sign defaced with anti-police messages over the weekend

DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — While things were peaceful downtown, areas in Dothan were vandalized over the weekend.

Several buildings and at least one sign were discovered with the words “Save a life, kill a cop” sprayed painted on them.

The Dothan welcome sign on West Highway 84 was marked with the phrase.

On the northside, the Shell Station saw the same phrase, and in the heart of downtown, the front of the Civic Center bore the same red words.

Early Sunday morning and throughout the day, an increase of police patrols in the aforementioned areas of the Circle City.
