DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Dothan Botanical Garden held its annual Ralph Smith Memorial Golf Tournament Thursday at the Highlands golf course.
The garden usually raises around $40,000 every year that goes toward the upkeep of the Dothan Botanical Gardens.
Naturally, director William Holman was very excited for this year’s tournament.
“This year we have 29, 28 teams, and so again, it shows the support for the garden, and we encourage folks to come out and enjoy the fruits of fundraising events like this,” said William Holman, director of Dothan Botanical Gardens.
The tournament did not have an in-person awards ceremony in order to stay safe during the pandemic.
