DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Dothan City Schools revealed its newest communication strategy: its first city-wide newsletter.
The upcoming publication will feature articles, stories, and pictures so that readers can learn more about the school system as a whole as well as each individual school. The newsletter will also point readers to exclusive digital content, interviews with school members, and information about DCS’s future plans.
According to Public Relations/Information Officer Meagan Dorsey, the newsletter is meant to increase communication between the schools and Wiregrass residents.
“It’s a gateway to say hey, I’m really interested in what’s going on in the schools,” Dorsey explained. “Let me tune into the social media channels of these schools, let me tune into any news letters, let me be a supporter of what’s going on because there is some great things going on.”
The newsletter will be released in the Dothan Progress Thursday, January 23, and the Dothan Eagle Sunday, January 26.
