‘Critter Getter’ accused of child sex abuse still on the run

Local News

DALE COUNTY, Ala. (WDHN) — According to authorities, Kent Leo Fry is still on the run.

He’s a well-known hunter in the Wiregrass that was accused of child sex abuse last fall.

The “Critter Getter” still remains at large, and with his expertise in hunting, he could be anywhere. Deputies believe Fry has left the Dale County area, and the case has been turned over to U.S Marshal’s Office.

“Based on the resources, they are nationwide so they can go anywhere,” Chief Deputy Mason Bynum said.

According to Bynum, they obtained a warrant for his arrest for sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old.

Fry is around 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds and has brown eyes. If you have seen this man, you are asked to contact the Dale County Sheriff’s Office at 334-774-3114.
