DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — The Houston County Farm Center and the Dothan Pediatric Clinic began giving out COVID-19 vaccines Tuesday.
They initially received 2,000 vaccines and senior residents were lined up to get them.
Knighton told WDHN the event was a success.
“So far, the state has supplied us with 2,000 vaccines to be administered, and we started the clinic yesterday,” Knighton “Today, we have given 340 of those vaccines.”
The next clinic at the farm center will be held in the morning on Jan. 27, then in the afternoon on Feb. 2 and 3.
Eligible patients are encouraged stop by the farm center to pick up a consent (cun-sent) form and request an appointment.
